About Me

I am a multi-media journalist who has been writing for almost a decade.

A University of New Hampshire 2014 graduate, I got my start in reporting as a features intern at the Portsmouth Herald covering the Seacoast region of New Hampshire.

My first full-time gig was covering Rochester and the surrounding towns as a staff reporter for Foster’s Daily Democrat. My focuses included local government, human interest, agriculture and the 2016 presidential primaries for a year and a half before moving to the Concord Monitor to cover several small towns, just before the 2016 general election.

I moved to Maine in 2019 for a political reporting job at the Bangor Daily News. In addition to covering political races and the legislature, I quickly became a lead reporter on the state’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. I maintained a political and health care focus in subsequent jobs at nonprofit news website The Maine Monitor and Maine Public Radio.

I currently write about AI policy and trends for the International Association of Privacy Professionals. I am open to freelance work.
